Track & Field Event Our Special Education Department hosts this event to be held at Calvert High School, Wednesday, April 30th. Training for the Track and Field event is done at your child's school. Most schools participate in this event, but you may want to double check with your child's teacher/school in February or early March to be sure your child's school is participating, and when training is being conducted. This event also counts as one of the qualifiers to be able to compete in the Maryland Special Olympics Summer Games in June, if your child wishes to. If an athlete would like to participate further in Track and Field (or in any other events) they will need to complete a Special Olympics Physical form and have it signed by a physician. Physicals are good for 3 years. It is not needed for the schools event. 5th Annual Inspiration 5K Run/Walk
